I´m about to hit the age where you turn right wing. I drive an Opel. I don´t smoke.

I don´t remember exactly now, I just know they influenced me when I saw them for the first time.
What’s your ideal location to shoot – any time – any place?
Any exterior with overcast. Very little lighting needed, but still looks great, which gives you more time with the actors.
Do you have any good luck charm or a particular routine when directing?
I used to have a warm cap I always wore on cold days when shooting, but I lost it.
Which five persons dead, real or imaginary would you want to have over for dinner?
Dwarfs number 1,3,5,6 & 7 from Snow White.
What scene from movies would you like to recreate and why?
The train coming towards the camera in Lumieres first film, but now in color, anamorphic and in 5.1 surround. (it would need to screened for the same audience though)
Describe your next film.
It´s called Undercurrent. It´s a bittersweet drama about the crew of a rusty fising vessel in the north sea. The film tells the stories of six men and one woman. Hopefully it´s going to be a bit cold and rough around the edges but soft and warm on the inside.
